約翰福音 第 12

逾 越 節 前 六 日， 耶 穌 來 到 伯 大 尼， 就 是 他 叫 拉 撒 路 從 死 裡 復 活 之 處。

Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

有 人 在 那 裡 給 耶 穌 預 備 筵 席 ； 馬 大 伺 候， 拉 撒 路 也 在 那 同 耶 穌 坐 席 的 人 中。

There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

馬 利 亞 就 拿 著 一 斤 極 貴 的 真 哪 噠 香 膏， 抹 耶 穌 的 腳， 又 用 自 己 頭 髮 去 擦， 屋 裡 就 滿 了 膏 的 香 氣。

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

有 一 個 門 徒， 就 是 那 將 要 賣 耶 穌 的 加 略 人 猶 大，

Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him,

說 ： 這 香 膏 為 甚 麼 不 賣 三 十 兩 銀 子 賙 濟 窮 人 呢 ？

Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

他 說 這 話， 並 不 是 掛 念 窮 人， 乃 因 他 是 個 賊， 又 帶 著 錢 囊， 常 取 其 中 所 存 的。

This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

耶 穌 說 ： 由 他 罷 ！ 他 是 為 我 安 葬 之 日 存 留 的。

Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

因 為 常 有 窮 人 和 你 們 同 在， 只 是 你 們 不 常 有 我。

For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.

有 許 多 猶 太 人 知 道 耶 穌 在 那 裡， 就 來 了， 不 但 是 為 耶 穌 的 緣 故， 也 是 要 看 他 從 死 裡 所 復 活 的 拉 撒 路。

Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

但 祭 司 長 商 議 連 拉 撒 路 也 要 殺 了 ；

But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

因 有 好 些 猶 太 人 為 拉 撒 路 的 緣 故， 回 去 信 了 耶 穌。

Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

第 二 天， 有 許 多 上 來 過 節 的 人 聽 見 耶 穌 將 到 耶 路 撒 冷，

On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

就 拿 著 棕 樹 枝 出 去 迎 接 他， 喊 著 說 ： 和 散 那 ！ 奉 主 名 來 的 以 色 列 王 是 應 當 稱 頌 的 ！

Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

耶 穌 得 了 一 個 驢 駒， 就 騎 上， 如 經 上 所 記 的 說 ：

And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,

錫 安 的 民 （ 原 文 作 女 子 ） 哪， 不 要 懼 怕 ！ 你 的 王 騎 著 驢 駒 來 了。

Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.

這 些 事 門 徒 起 先 不 明 白， 等 到 耶 穌 得 了 榮 耀 以 後 才 想 起 這 話 是 指 著 他 寫 的， 並 且 眾 人 果 然 向 他 這 樣 行 了。

These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

當 耶 穌 呼 喚 拉 撒 路， 叫 他 從 死 復 活 出 墳 墓 的 時 候， 同 耶 穌 在 那 裡 的 眾 人 就 作 見 證。

The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

眾 人 因 聽 見 耶 穌 行 了 這 神 蹟， 就 去 迎 接 他。

For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.

法 利 賽 人 彼 此 說 ： 看 哪， 你 們 是 徒 勞 無 益， 世 人 都 隨 從 他 去 了。

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

那 時， 上 來 過 節 禮 拜 的 人 中， 有 幾 個 希 利 尼 人。

And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:

他 們 來 見 加 利 利 伯 賽 大 的 腓 力， 求 他 說 ： 先 生， 我 們 願 意 見 耶 穌。

The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.

腓 力 去 告 訴 安 得 烈， 安 得 烈 同 腓 力 去 告 訴 耶 穌。

Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

耶 穌 說 ： 人 子 得 榮 耀 的 時 候 到 了。

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

我 實 實 在 在 的 告 訴 你 們， 一 粒 麥 子 不 落 在 地 裡 死 了， 仍 舊 是 一 粒， 若 是 死 了， 就 結 出 許 多 子 粒 來。

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

愛 惜 自 己 生 命 的， 就 失 喪 生 命 ； 在 這 世 上 恨 惡 自 己 生 命 的， 就 要 保 守 生 命 到 永 生。

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

若 有 人 服 事 我， 就 當 跟 從 我 ； 我 在 那 裡， 服 事 我 的 人 也 要 在 那 裡 ； 若 有 人 服 事 我， 我 父 必 尊 重 他。

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

我 現 在 心 裡 憂 愁， 我 說 甚 麼 才 好 呢 ？ 父 阿， 救 我 脫 離 這 時 候 ； 但 我 原 是 為 這 時 候 來 的。

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

父 阿， 願 你 榮 耀 你 的 名 ！ 當 時 就 有 聲 音 從 天 上 來， 說 ： 我 已 經 榮 耀 了 我 的 名， 還 要 再 榮 耀。

Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

站 在 旁 邊 的 眾 人 聽 見， 就 說 ： 打 雷 了。 還 有 人 說 ： 有 天 使 對 他 說 話。

The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

耶 穌 說 ： 這 聲 音 不 是 為 我， 是 為 你 們 來 的。

Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

現 在 這 世 界 受 審 判， 這 世 界 的 王 要 被 趕 出 去。

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

我 若 從 地 上 被 舉 起 來， 就 要 吸 引 萬 人 來 歸 我。

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

耶 穌 這 話 原 是 指 著 自 己 將 要 怎 樣 死 說 的。

This he said, signifying what death he should die.

眾 人 回 答 說 ： 我 們 聽 見 律 法 上 有 話 說， 基 督 是 永 存 的， 你 怎 麼 說 人 子 必 須 被 舉 起 來 呢 ？ 這 人 子 是 誰 呢 ？

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

耶 穌 對 他 們 說 ： 光 在 你 們 中 間 還 有 不 多 的 時 候， 應 當 趁 著 有 光 行 走， 免 得 黑 暗 臨 到 你 們 ； 那 在 黑 暗 裡 行 走 的， 不 知 道 往 何 處 去。

Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

你 們 應 當 趁 著 有 光， 信 從 這 光， 使 你 們 成 為 光 明 之 子。 耶 穌 說 了 這 話， 就 離 開 隱 藏 了。

While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

他 雖 然 在 他 們 面 前 行 了 許 多 神 蹟， 他 們 還 是 不 信 他。

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

這 是 要 應 驗 先 知 以 賽 亞 的 話， 說 ： 主 阿， 我 們 所 傳 的 有 誰 信 呢 ？ 主 的 膀 臂 向 誰 顯 露 呢 ？

That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

他 們 所 以 不 能 信， 因 為 以 賽 亞 又 說 ：

Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

主 叫 他 們 瞎 了 眼， 硬 了 心， 免 得 他 們 眼 睛 看 見， 心 裡 明 白， 回 轉 過 來， 我 就 醫 治 他 們。

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

以 賽 亞 因 為 看 見 他 的 榮 耀， 就 指 著 他 說 這 話。

These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

雖 然 如 此， 官 長 中 卻 有 好 些 信 他 的， 只 因 法 利 賽 人 的 緣 故， 就 不 承 認， 恐 怕 被 趕 出 會 堂。

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

這 是 因 他 們 愛 人 的 榮 耀 過 於 愛 神 的 榮 耀。

For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

耶 穌 大 聲 說 ： 信 我 的， 不 是 信 我， 乃 是 信 那 差 我 來 的。

Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

人 看 見 我， 就 是 看 見 那 差 我 來 的。

And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

我 到 世 上 來， 乃 是 光， 叫 凡 信 我 的， 不 住 在 黑 暗 裡。

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

若 有 人 聽 見 我 的 話 不 遵 守， 我 不 審 判 他。 我 來 本 不 是 要 審 判 世 界， 乃 是 要 拯 救 世 界。

And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

棄 絕 我 、 不 領 受 我 話 的 人， 有 審 判 他 的 ─ 就 是 我 所 講 的 道 在 末 日 要 審 判 他。

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

因 為 我 沒 有 憑 著 自 己 講， 惟 有 差 我 來 的 父 已 經 給 我 命 令， 叫 我 說 甚 麼， 講 甚 麼。

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

我 也 知 道 他 的 命 令 就 是 永 生。 故 此， 我 所 講 的 話 正 是 照 著 父 對 我 所 說 的。

And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
