Revelation Chapter 15

KJV — King James Version · 8 verses

1

And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Spiritual Insight

Seven angels with seven last plagues—God's wrath completed in them. These are not random disasters but purposeful acts of a holy God. Even in judgment, there is a plan and a limit.

2

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Spiritual Insight

Victors standing on a sea of glass mixed with fire, holding harps—what a contrast to the plagues below. Those who overcome find themselves in a place of worship and peace. Your victory is coming; keep standing.

3

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Spiritual Insight

They sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb—both deliverance and redemption celebrated together. Your story of rescue deserves its own song. Sing it boldly; God is still delivering.

4

Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Spiritual Insight

Who will not fear You, Lord? All nations will come and worship before You. This is the ultimate vision—every knee bowing, every tongue confessing. You're getting a preview of that glory right now.

5

And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Spiritual Insight

The temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven opens—the very presence of God is unveiled. Heaven's doors are not locked; they are opening wider and wider. Draw near with confidence.

6

And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

Spiritual Insight

Seven angels in pure white linen with golden sashes—heaven's servants dressed for sacred duty. Purity and glory go together in God's service. Serve Him with both clean hands and a willing heart.

7

And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

Spiritual Insight

One of the four living creatures gives seven golden bowls of God's wrath to the angels. Even judgment is administered with order and purpose. God is never chaotic, even in His most fearsome acts.

8

And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

Spiritual Insight

The temple fills with smoke from God's glory—no one can enter until the plagues are finished. His holiness is overwhelming, His presence consuming. Stand in awe of the God who is both near and beyond comprehension.
