以 下 也 是 所 羅 門 的 箴 言， 是 猶 大 王 希 西 家 的 人 所 謄 錄 的。
These are also proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.

這些是所羅門更多的箴言，由希西家的人謄錄。智慧值得保存並代代相傳。
將 事 隱 祕 乃 神 的 榮 耀 ； 將 事 察 清 乃 君 王 的 榮 耀。
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
屬靈感悟
將事隱祕是上帝的榮耀，將事查清是君王的榮耀。奧秘邀請探索，追求真理是高貴的。
天 之 高， 地 之 厚， 君 王 之 心 也 測 不 透。
The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable.
屬靈感悟
天怎樣高，地怎樣深，君王的心也照樣不可測度。人類的領導包含了我們無法看見的複雜性。
除 去 銀 子 的 渣 滓 就 有 銀 子 出 來， 銀 匠 能 以 做 器 皿。
Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
屬靈感悟
除去銀子的渣滓，銀匠就能造出精美的器皿。淨化能顯露其中真正的潛力。
除 去 王 面 前 的 惡 人， 國 位 就 靠 公 義 堅 立。
Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
屬靈感悟
從王面前除去惡人，他的國位就藉公義而堅立。好的領導需要勇氣做出艱難的人事決定。
不 要 在 王 面 前 妄 自 尊 大 ； 不 要 在 大 人 的 位 上 站 立。
Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men:
屬靈感悟
不要在王面前妄自尊大，也不要坐在尊貴人中間。謙卑能打開自我推銷所關上的門。
寧 可 有 人 說 ： 請 你 上 來， 強 如 在 你 覲 見 的 王 子 面 前 叫 你 退 下。
For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.
屬靈感悟
寧可有人對你說「請上這裡來」，也不可在官長面前被羞辱。讓別人抬舉你，而不是你自己往上爬。
不 要 冒 失 出 去 與 人 爭 競， 免 得 至 終 被 他 羞 辱， 你 就 不 知 道 怎 樣 行 了。
Go not forth hastily to strive, lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.
屬靈感悟
不要急著去爭訟——如果你的鄰舍使你蒙羞，你末了怎麼辦呢？急於衝突可能讓你後悔結果。
你 與 鄰 舍 爭 訟， 要 與 他 一 人 辯 論， 不 可 洩 漏 人 的 密 事，
Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another:

要直接與你的鄰舍解決問題，不要洩露他人的信任。誠實的私下對話比公開指控更能解決問題。
恐 怕 聽 見 的 人 罵 你， 你 的 臭 名 就 難 以 脫 離。
Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away.
屬靈感悟
聽見的人可能會使你蒙羞，你的聲譽也會受損。信任一旦破裂，需要很長時間才能重建。
一 句 話 說 得 合 宜， 就 如 金 蘋 果 在 銀 網 子 裡。
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
屬靈感悟
一句說得合宜的話，就如金蘋果在銀網子裡。在對的時機說對的話，美得令人屏息。
智 慧 人 的 勸 戒， 在 順 從 的 人 耳 中， 好 像 金 耳 環 和 精 金 的 妝 飾。
As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.
屬靈感悟
智慧人的責備，在聽從的人耳中，好像金耳環和精金的裝飾——珍貴而有價值。責備若被好好接受，就裝飾了給予者和接受者雙方。
忠 信 的 使 者 叫 差 他 的 人 心 裡 舒 暢， 就 如 在 收 割 時 有 冰 雪 的 涼 氣。
As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.
屬靈感悟
如收割時的冰雪是可靠的消息使者——使差遣他們的人心神舒暢。可靠是一份帶來寬慰的禮物。
空 誇 贈 送 禮 物 的， 好 像 無 雨 的 風 雲。
Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.
屬靈感悟
如無雨的雲和風，是那些誇口送禮卻不兌現的人。空洞的承諾讓你周圍的人都口渴。
恆 常 忍 耐 可 以 勸 動 君 王 ； 柔 和 的 舌 頭 能 折 斷 骨 頭。
By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone.
屬靈感悟
忍耐可以勸動君王，柔和的舌頭能折斷骨頭。安靜的堅持比喧嘩的力量成就更多。
你 得 了 蜜 麼 ？ 只 可 吃 夠 而 已， 恐 怕 你 過 飽 就 嘔 吐 出 來。
Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it.
屬靈感悟
你若找到蜂蜜，只要吃夠就好——吃多了就會反胃。即使是好的東西，過量也會有害。
你 的 腳 要 少 進 鄰 舍 的 家， 恐 怕 他 厭 煩 你， 恨 惡 你。
Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour’s house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee.
屬靈感悟
不要常常去打擾你的鄰舍，免得他厭煩你、恨惡你。即使是最深的友誼也需要呼吸的空間。
作 假 見 證 陷 害 鄰 舍 的， 就 是 大 槌， 是 利 刀， 是 快 箭。
A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.
屬靈感悟
如同棍棒、刀劍或利箭，是那作假見證陷害鄰舍的人。謊言以致命的精準造成傷害。
患 難 時 倚 靠 不 忠 誠 的 人， 好 像 破 壞 的 牙， 錯 骨 縫 的 腳。
Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.
屬靈感悟
如同壞牙和瘸腿，是在需要時倚靠不忠的人。依賴不可靠的人，你將跛行度日。
對 傷 心 的 人 唱 歌， 就 如 冷 天 脫 衣 服， 又 如 鹼 上 倒 醋。
As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.
屬靈感悟
如在冷天脫掉衣服，或如鹽倒在傷口上，是對著憂傷的心唱快樂的歌。不體貼的快樂加深了別人的痛苦。
你 的 仇 敵 若 餓 了， 就 給 他 飯 吃 ； 若 渴 了， 就 給 他 水 喝 ；
If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
屬靈感悟
你的仇敵若餓了，就給他飯吃；若渴了，就給他水喝。面對敵意的善意，能深刻地瓦解對方。
因 為， 你 這 樣 行 就 是 把 炭 火 堆 在 他 的 頭 上 ； 耶 和 華 也 必 賞 賜 你。
For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
屬靈感悟
你就是把炭火堆在他的頭上，耶和華也必賞賜你。徹底的慷慨甚至能改變敵人。
北 風 生 雨， 讒 謗 人 的 舌 頭 也 生 怒 容。
The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
屬靈感悟
北風生雨，暗中誹謗的舌頭也生怒容。閒話無論走到哪裡都會攪動麻煩。
寧 可 住 在 房 頂 的 角 上， 不 在 寬 闊 的 房 屋 與 爭 吵 的 婦 人 同 住。
It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.
屬靈感悟
寧可住在房頂的角上，也不與爭吵的妻子同住寬敞的房屋。家中的平安比任何面積都更有價值。
有 好 消 息 從 遠 方 來， 就 如 拿 涼 水 給 口 渴 的 人 喝。
As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
屬靈感悟
如同涼水對疲憊的靈魂，是從遠方傳來的好消息。遠方的鼓勵能像沒有任何東西一樣振奮你。
義 人 在 惡 人 面 前 退 縮， 好 像 逿 渾 之 泉， 弄 濁 之 井。
A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.
屬靈感悟
如同渾濁的泉源或污染的井，是義人在惡人面前屈服。妥協你的正直會污染下游的一切。
吃 蜜 過 多 是 不 好 的 ； 考 究 自 己 的 榮 耀 也 是 可 厭 的。
It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.
屬靈感悟
吃太多蜂蜜不好，追求自己的榮耀也不光彩。自我放縱和自我推銷都會讓你空虛。
人 不 制 伏 自 己 的 心， 好 像 毀 壞 的 城 邑 沒 有 牆 垣。
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
屬靈感悟
一個沒有自制力的人，如同城牆被拆毀的城池。沒有內在的界線，你對每一個試探都毫無防備。
