王 的 心 在 耶 和 華 手 中， 好 像 隴 溝 的 水 隨 意 流 轉。
The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

即使是君王的心，也像水流一樣在上帝手中，由祂温柔地引導。你可以相信，沒有任何權力能超出祂的掌管。
人 所 行 的， 在 自 己 眼 中 都 看 為 正 ； 惟 有 耶 和 華 衡 量 人 心。
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

我們常覺得自己走的路是對的，但上帝看透我們內心深處的動機。令人安慰的是，祂比我們更了解自己。
行 仁 義 公 平 比 獻 祭 更 蒙 耶 和 華 悅 納。
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

上帝看重真誠追求公義的心，勝過任何華麗的宗教儀式。對人行正直的事，比任何祭物更有意義。
惡 人 發 達 （ 發 達 ： 原 文 是 燈 ）， 眼 高 心 傲， 這 乃 是 罪。
An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

傲慢和驕傲是警訊，它們甚至會敗壞我們手中的日常工�?。謙卑讓我們的工作保持純正。
殷 勤 籌 劃 的， 足 致 豐 裕 ； 行 事 急 躁 的， 都 必 缺 乏。
The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

穩定忠心的努力能建立長久的成果，而急躁追求速成往往帶來空虛。耐心本身就是一種智慧。
用 詭 詐 之 舌 求 財 的， 就 是 自 己 取 死 ； 所 得 之 財 乃 是 吹 來 吹 去 的 浮 雲。
The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

靠謊言得來的財富是脆弱且危險的，它帶著自我毀滅的種子。誠實的工作才能建立在堅實的基礎上。
惡 人 的 強 暴 必 將 自 己 掃 除， 因 他 們 不 肯 按 公 平 行 事。
The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.

奪取他人之物的人，終究會被自己的暴力所吞噬。拒絕行正道，代價沉重。
負 罪 之 人 的 路 甚 是 彎 曲 ； 至 於 清 潔 的 人， 他 所 行 的 乃 是 正 直。
The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.

有罪的心讓人的道路彎曲混亂，但純正的品格會為你所做的一切帶來清晰。
寧 可 住 在 房 頂 的 角 上， 不 在 寬 闊 的 房 屋 與 爭 吵 的 婦 人 同 住。
It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

小角落裡的寧靜安詳，勝過寬敞大屋中的無休爭吵。家的氛圍比它的面積更重要。
惡 人 的 心 樂 人 受 禍 ； 他 眼 並 不 憐 恤 鄰 舍。
The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

當自私掌控內心時，他人成了障礙而非鄰舍。真正的群體生活需要慷慨的心靈。
褻 慢 的 人 受 刑 罰， 愚 蒙 的 人 就 得 智 慧 ； 智 慧 人 受 訓 誨， 便 得 知 識。
When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.

我們可以從別人受懲罰中學到智慧，也可以從接受教導中成長。學習永無止境。
義 人 思 想 惡 人 的 家， 知 道 惡 人 傾 倒， 必 致 滅 亡。
The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

義人觀察惡人如何建造自己的人生，明白沒有上帝，再宏偉的結構也會崩塌。智慧在觀察中學習。
塞 耳 不 聽 窮 人 哀 求 的， 他 將 來 呼 籲 也 不 蒙 應 允。
Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

如果你對有需要的人的呼喊充耳不聞，就不要驚訝自己的呼求也無人回應。憐憫是通往恩典的門。
暗 中 送 的 禮 物 挽 回 怒 氣 ； 懷 中 搋 的 賄 賂 止 息 暴 怒。
A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.

有時候，一份安靜而體貼的禮物能化解最深的憤怒。溫柔的舉動帶著超乎想像的力量。
秉 公 行 義 使 義 人 喜 樂， 使 作 孽 的 人 敗 壞。
It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

行公義能帶來真正的喜樂，這與我們受造的本性相呼應。公義不只是責任，更是喜悅。
迷 離 通 達 道 路 的， 必 住 在 陰 魂 的 會 中。
The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

愛 宴 樂 的， 必 致 窮 乏 ； 好 酒， 愛 膏 油 的， 必 不 富 足。
He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

貪愛享樂和奢華會耗盡你的資源，而以敬虔的方式愛美好的事物則滋養你的靈魂。你的渴望塑造你的命運。
惡 人 作 了 義 人 的 贖 價 ； 奸 詐 人 代 替 正 直 人。
The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.

惡人成為義人的贖價，他們的選擇所帶來的後果服務於上帝更大的旨意。公義自有它的平衡方式。
寧 可 住 在 曠 野， 不 與 爭 吵 使 氣 的 婦 人 同 住。
It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

住在曠野荒涼之地，也比住在充滿爭吵的舒適家中更好。和平值得任何犧牲。
智 慧 人 家 中 積 蓄 寶 物 膏 油 ； 愚 昧 人 隨 得 來 隨 吞 下。
There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

智慧人的家中有寶藏——積蓄的知識、耐心和洞察力。但愚昧人卻一口吞噬一切。
追 求 公 義 仁 慈 的， 就 尋 得 生 命 、 公 義， 和 尊 榮。
He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

同時追求公義和慈愛，能帶來真正的豐盛——不只是物質的祝福，更是充實而有意義的人生。
智 慧 人 爬 上 勇 士 的 城 牆， 傾 覆 他 所 倚 靠 的 堅 壘。
A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.

智慧能賦予你力量面對最強大的對手。關鍵不在於體力，而在於洞察力和策略。
謹 守 口 與 舌 的， 就 保 守 自 己 免 受 災 難。
Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

謹慎守護自己的言語，展現了真正的自制力。即使被激怒，智慧人選擇沉默而非魯莽的言辭。
心 驕 氣 傲 的 人 名 叫 褻 慢 ； 他 行 事 狂 妄， 都 出 於 驕 傲。
Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

驕傲自大的人被稱為「褻慢人」，行事狂妄。驕傲使我們對自己的愚昧視而不見。
懶 惰 人 的 心 願 將 他 殺 害， 因 為 他 手 不 肯 做 工。
The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.

懶惰導致緩慢的衰敗——渴望堆積，實現它們的力量卻日漸枯萎。勤奮是一種管家之道。
有 終 日 貪 得 無 饜 的 ； 義 人 施 捨 而 不 吝 惜。
He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

終日渴求邪惡是一種可悲的生活方式。相比之下，義人慷慨給予，毫不吝嗇。
惡 人 的 祭 物 是 可 憎 的 ； 何 況 他 存 惡 意 來 獻 呢 ？
The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?

上帝厭惡惡人的獻祭——當你的雙手沾滿罪惡時，敬拜反而是一種侮辱。先潔淨自己，再來敬拜。
作 假 見 證 的 必 滅 亡 ； 惟 有 聽 真 情 而 言 的， 其 言 長 存。
A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.
屬靈感悟
作假見證的人必將滅亡，而仔細聆聽的人將帶著持久的權威發言。真理比任何謊言都長壽。
惡 人 臉 無 羞 恥 ； 正 直 人 行 事 堅 定。
A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.

惡人裝出大膽的模樣，但正直人謹慎思量自己的道路。沒有正直的自信不過是虛張聲勢。
沒 有 人 能 以 智 慧 、 聰 明 、 謀 略 敵 擋 耶 和 華。
There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
屬靈感悟
任何人的智慧、見識或計劃都無法抵擋上帝。我們最好的策略是與祂的旨意對齊。
馬 是 為 打 仗 之 日 預 備 的 ； 得 勝 乃 在 乎 耶 和 華。
The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
屬靈感悟
馬是為爭戰之日預備的，但得勝在乎耶和華。盡你所能，然後把結果交託給上帝。
