行 為 純 正 的 貧 窮 人 勝 過 乖 謬 愚 妄 的 富 足 人。
Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
屬靈感悟
在正直中行走比擁有敗壞品格的財富更重要。一個誠實的窮人比一個富有的愚昧人站得更直。
心 無 知 識 的， 乃 為 不 善 ； 腳 步 急 快 的， 難 免 犯 罪。
Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
屬靈感悟
在沒有知識的情況下度過一生是危險的，不經思考就匆忙前進會導致犯罪。慢下來學習實際上是更快的路。
人 的 愚 昧 傾 敗 他 的 道 ； 他 的 心 也 抱 怨 耶 和 華。
The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.
屬靈感悟
人們常常因愚昧敗壞自己的道路，然後因此對神心懷不平。責怪天比面對自己的錯誤更容易。
財 物 使 朋 友 增 多 ； 但 窮 人 朋 友 遠 離。
Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.
屬靈感悟
財富吸引許多朋友，但貧窮可能使一個人被孤立。這是對人性的誠實觀察，應當讓我們檢視自己的忠誠。
作 假 見 證 的， 必 不 免 受 罰 ； 吐 出 謊 言 的， 終 不 能 逃 脫。
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
屬靈感悟
作假見證的必不免受罰——謊言總會追上說謊者。神是真理最終的審判者。
好 施 散 的， 有 多 人 求 他 的 恩 情 ； 愛 送 禮 的， 人 都 為 他 的 朋 友。
Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
屬靈感悟
每個人都想靠近有權勢和慷慨的人。這節經文只是觀察人性傾向於靠近能提供什麼的人。
貧 窮 人， 弟 兄 都 恨 他 ； 何 況 他 的 朋 友， 更 遠 離 他 ！ 他 用 言 語 追 隨， 他 們 卻 走 了。
All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.
屬靈感悟
貧窮可以是極度孤立的——甚至家人和朋友也可能遠離。這是一個痛苦的現實，應當激發我們的同情心。
得 著 智 慧 的， 愛 惜 生 命 ； 保 守 聰 明 的， 必 得 好 處。
He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.
屬靈感悟
追求智慧實際上是愛自己的表現。當我們守護聰明時，我們就定位自己去找尋真正的美好。
作 假 見 證 的， 不 免 受 罰 ； 吐 出 謊 言 的， 也 必 滅 亡。
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.

這呼應了第5節——作假見證的必將滅亡。神重複這個警告，因為誠實對祂來說就是這麼重要。
愚 昧 人 宴 樂 度 日 是 不 合 宜 的 ； 何 況 僕 人 管 轄 王 子 呢 ？
Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.

奢華不適合愚昧人，權力落在不當的人手中同樣不合宜。沒有品格的職位是災難的配方。
人 有 見 識 就 不 輕 易 發 怒 ； 寬 恕 人 的 過 失 便 是 自 己 的 榮 耀。
The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
屬靈感悟
有見識的人不會立即發怒——他們有恩典可以寬恕過失。那樣的忍耐是真正榮耀的。
王 的 忿 怒 好 像 獅 子 吼 叫 ； 他 的 恩 典 卻 如 草 上 的 甘 露。
The king’s wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.
屬靈感悟
王的忿怒如獅子吼叫般可怕，但他的恩典如晨露般清新。掌權者既有粉碎的能力，也有祝福的能力。
愚 昧 的 兒 子 是 父 親 的 禍 患 ； 妻 子 的 爭 吵 如 雨 連 連 滴 漏。
A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.
屬靈感悟
愚昧的孩子為父親帶來災難，而持續的爭吵像不停滴水一樣磨損一個人。這兩種家庭關係都深深考驗我們的耐心。
房 屋 錢 財 是 祖 宗 所 遺 留 的 ； 惟 有 賢 慧 的 妻 是 耶 和 華 所 賜 的。
House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.
屬靈感悟
我們可以從父母繼承房屋和財富，但一個明智而充滿愛的配偶是直接從主而來的。有些禮物只有神能賜予。
懶 惰 使 人 沉 睡 ； 懈 怠 的 人 必 受 飢 餓。
Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
屬靈感悟
懶惰使人沉睡，而閒散的靈魂最終會挨餓。我們的努力和供應之間有直接的關聯。
謹 守 誡 命 的， 保 全 生 命 ； 輕 忽 己 路 的， 必 致 死 亡。
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
屬靈感悟
遵守神的誡命是守護自己生命的方式。忽視祂的道路使我們走上危險的路。順從是靈魂的自我照顧。
憐 憫 貧 窮 的， 就 是 借 給 耶 和 華 ； 他 的 善 行， 耶 和 華 必 償 還。
He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
屬靈感悟
當我們對窮人施恩時，我們實際上是借給耶和華——而祂必償還。對有需要的人慷慨永遠不會白費。
趁 有 指 望， 管 教 你 的 兒 子 ； 你 的 心 不 可 任 他 死 亡。
Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.
屬靈感悟
趁有指望時管教你的孩子。當下雖然困難，但保留愛的糾正長遠來看對他們沒有好處。
暴 怒 的 人 必 受 刑 罰 ； 你 若 救 他， 必 須 再 救。
A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
屬靈感悟
一個被怒氣控制的人不斷惹上麻煩——救他一次不能解決根本問題。真正的改變必須從裡面開始。
你 要 聽 勸 教， 受 訓 誨， 使 你 終 久 有 智 慧。
Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
屬靈感悟
聆聽勸戒，接受教訓——這是對你未來的投資。現在願意受教，將帶來日後的智慧。
人 心 多 有 計 謀 ； 惟 有 耶 和 華 的 籌 算 才 能 立 定。
There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

我們心中也許有許多計畫，但惟有耶和華的旨意才能成立。我們的夢想受制於祂更偉大的設計。
施 行 仁 慈 的， 令 人 愛 慕 ； 窮 人 強 如 說 謊 言 的。
The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.

一個人真正渴望的顯露了他的善意。無論環境如何，貧窮但誠實遠勝於說謊。
敬 畏 耶 和 華 的， 得 著 生 命 ； 他 必 恆 久 知 足， 不 遭 禍 患。
The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

敬畏耶和華導向滿足的生活，不會不斷遭受邪惡的侵擾。敬畏神不是可怕的——它是深深保護性的。
懶 惰 人 放 手 在 盤 子 裡， 就 是 向 口 撤 回， 他 也 不 肯。
A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
屬靈感悟
懶惰人的畫面幾乎是滑稽的——懶到連把食物送到自己嘴邊都不願意。這是對讓冷漠接管一切的生動警告。
鞭 打 褻 慢 人， 愚 蒙 人 必 長 見 識 ； 責 備 明 哲 人， 他 就 明 白 知 識。
Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
屬靈感悟
責備褻慢人可以作為愚蒙人的警戒，而糾正智慧人能幫助他們成長。不同的人對糾正有不同的回應。
虐 待 父 親 、 攆 出 母 親 的， 是 貽 羞 致 辱 之 子。
He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.
屬靈感悟
浪費父親資源、趕走母親的孩子帶來羞辱和責罵。孝敬父母是蒙福生活的根基。
我 兒， 不 可 聽 了 教 訓 而 又 偏 離 知 識 的 言 語。
Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.
屬靈感悟
不要再聽那些帶你遠離真理的教導。不是所有的教訓都是好的教訓——我們必須分辨什麼在塑造我們的思想。
匪 徒 作 見 證 戲 笑 公 平 ； 惡 人 的 口 吞 下 罪 孽。
An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.
屬靈感悟
腐敗的見證人褻瀆正義，惡人吞咽罪惡如同食物。邪惡可以變得如此熟悉，以至於感覺正常。
刑 罰 是 為 褻 慢 人 預 備 的 ； 鞭 打 是 為 愚 昧 人 的 背 預 備 的。
Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
屬靈感悟
審判等待著那些嘲笑的人，懲罰為愚昧人預備好了。生命中有為持續行惡而設的後果。
