瑪拉基書 第 1

耶 和 華 藉 瑪 拉 基 傳 給 以 色 列 的 默 示。

The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.

耶 和 華 說 ： 我 曾 愛 你 們。 你 們 卻 說 ： 你 在 何 事 上 愛 我 們 呢 ？ 耶 和 華 說 ： 以 掃 不 是 雅 各 的 哥 哥 麼 ？ 我 卻 愛 雅 各，

I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

惡 以 掃， 使 他 的 山 嶺 荒 涼， 把 他 的 地 業 交 給 曠 野 的 野 狗。

And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

以 東 人 說 ： 我 們 現 在 雖 被 毀 壞， 卻 要 重 建 荒 廢 之 處。 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 任 他 們 建 造， 我 必 拆 毀 ； 人 必 稱 他 們 的 地 為 罪 惡 之 境 ； 稱 他 們 的 民 為 耶 和 華 永 遠 惱 怒 之 民。

Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

你 們 必 親 眼 看 見， 也 必 說 ： 願 耶 和 華 在 以 色 列 境 界 之 外 被 尊 為 大 ！

And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.

藐 視 我 名 的 祭 司 啊， 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 對 你 們 說 ： 兒 子 尊 敬 父 親， 僕 人 敬 畏 主 人 ； 我 既 為 父 親， 尊 敬 我 的 在 哪 裡 呢 ？ 我 既 為 主 人， 敬 畏 我 的 在 哪 裡 呢 ？ 你 們 卻 說 ： 我 們 在 何 事 上 藐 視 你 的 名 呢 ？

A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

你 們 將 污 穢 的 食 物 獻 在 我 的 壇 上， 且 說 ： 我 們 在 何 事 上 污 穢 你 呢 ？ 因 你 們 說， 耶 和 華 的 桌 子 是 可 藐 視 的。

Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.

你 們 將 瞎 眼 的 獻 為 祭 物， 這 不 為 惡 麼 ？ 將 瘸 腿 的 、 有 病 的 獻 上， 這 不 為 惡 麼 ？ 你 獻 給 你 的 省 長， 他 豈 喜 悅 你， 豈 能 看 你 的 情 面 麼 ？ 這 是 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 說 的。

And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.

現 在 我 勸 你 們 懇 求 神， 他 好 施 恩 與 我 們。 這 妄 獻 的 事， 既 由 你 們 經 手， 他 豈 能 看 你 們 的 情 面 麼 ？ 這 是 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 說 的。

And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.

甚 願 你 們 中 間 有 一 人 關 上 殿 門， 免 得 你 們 徒 然 在 我 壇 上 燒 火。 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 說 ： 我 不 喜 悅 你 們， 也 不 從 你 們 手 中 收 納 供 物。

Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 說 ： 從 日 出 之 地 到 日 落 之 處， 我 的 名 在 外 邦 中 必 尊 為 大。 在 各 處， 人 必 奉 我 的 名 燒 香， 獻 潔 淨 的 供 物， 因 為 我 的 名 在 外 邦 中 必 尊 為 大。

For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

你 們 卻 褻 瀆 我 的 名， 說 ： 耶 和 華 的 桌 子 是 污 穢 的， 其 上 的 食 物 是 可 藐 視 的。

But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.

你 們 又 說 ： 這 些 事 何 等 煩 瑣 ！ 並 嗤 之 以 鼻。 這 是 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 說 的。 你 們 把 搶 奪 的 、 瘸 腿 的 、 有 病 的 拿 來 獻 上 為 祭。 我 豈 能 從 你 們 手 中 收 納 呢 ？ 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的。

Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.

行 詭 詐 的 在 群 中 有 公 羊， 他 許 願 卻 用 有 殘 疾 的 獻 給 主， 這 人 是 可 咒 詛 的。 因 為 我 是 大 君 王， 我 的 名 在 外 邦 中 是 可 畏 的。 這 是 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 說 的。

But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
