約翰一書 第 4

親 愛 的 弟 兄 阿， 一 切 的 靈， 你 們 不 可 都 信， 總 要 試 驗 那 些 靈 是 出 於 神 的 不 是， 因 為 世 上 有 許 多 假 先 知 已 經 出 來 了。

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

凡 靈 認 耶 穌 基 督 是 成 了 肉 身 來， 就 是 出 於 神 的 的 ； 從 此 你 們 可 以 認 出 神 的 靈 來。

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

凡 靈 不 認 耶 穌， 就 不 是 出 於 神 ； 這 是 那 敵 基 督 者 的 靈。 你 們 從 前 聽 見 他 要 來， 現 在 已 經 在 世 上 了。

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

小 子 們 哪， 你 們 是 屬 神 的， 並 且 勝 了 他 們 ； 因 為 那 在 你 們 裡 面 的， 比 那 在 世 界 上 的 更 大。

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

他 們 是 屬 世 界 的， 所 以 論 世 界 的 事， 世 人 也 聽 從 他 們。

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

我 們 是 屬 神 的， 認 識 神 的 就 聽 從 我 們 ； 不 屬 神 的 就 不 聽 從 我 們。 從 此 我 們 可 以 認 出 真 理 的 靈 和 謬 妄 的 靈 來。

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

親 愛 的 弟 兄 阿， 我 們 應 當 彼 此 相 愛， 因 為 愛 是 從 神 來 的。 凡 有 愛 心 的， 都 是 由 神 而 生， 並 且 認 識 神。

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

沒 有 愛 心 的， 就 不 認 識 神， 因 為 神 就 是 愛。

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

神 差 他 獨 生 子 到 世 間 來， 使 我 們 藉 著 他 得 生， 神 愛 我 們 的 心 在 此 就 顯 明 了。

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

不 是 我 們 愛 神， 乃 是 神 愛 我 們， 差 他 的 兒 子 為 我 們 的 罪 作 了 挽 回 祭， 這 就 是 愛 了。

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

親 愛 的 弟 兄 阿， 神 既 是 這 樣 愛 我 們， 我 們 也 當 彼 此 相 愛。

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

從 來 沒 有 人 見 過 神， 我 們 若 彼 此 相 愛， 神 就 住 在 我 們 裡 面， 愛 他 的 心 在 我 們 裡 面 得 以 完 全 了。

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

神 將 他 的 靈 賜 給 我 們， 從 此 就 知 道 我 們 是 住 在 他 裡 面， 他 也 住 在 我 們 裡 面。

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

父 差 子 作 世 人 的 救 主 ； 這 是 我 們 所 看 見 且 作 見 證 的。

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

凡 認 耶 穌 為 神 兒 子 的， 神 就 住 在 他 裡 面， 他 也 住 在 神 裡 面。

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

神 愛 我 們 的 心， 我 們 也 知 道 也 信。 神 就 是 愛 ； 住 在 愛 裡 面 的， 就 是 住 在 神 裡 面， 神 也 住 在 他 裡 面。

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

這 樣， 愛 在 我 們 裡 面 得 以 完 全， 我 們 就 可 以 在 審 判 的 日 子 坦 然 無 懼。 因 為 他 如 何， 我 們 在 這 世 上 也 如 何。

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

愛 裡 沒 有 懼 怕 ； 愛 既 完 全， 就 把 懼 怕 除 去。 因 為 懼 怕 裡 含 著 刑 罰， 懼 怕 的 人 在 愛 裡 未 得 完 全。

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

我 們 愛， 因 為 神 先 愛 我 們。

We love him, because he first loved us.

人 若 說 我 愛 神， 卻 恨 他 的 弟 兄， 就 是 說 謊 話 的 ； 不 愛 他 所 看 見 的 弟 兄， 就 不 能 愛 沒 有 看 見 的 神 （ 有 古 卷 作 ： 怎 能 愛 沒 有 看 見 的 神 呢 ）。

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

愛 神 的， 也 當 愛 弟 兄， 這 是 我 們 從 神 所 受 的 命 令。

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
