Choosing the Right Bible Reading Plan

A Bible reading plan provides structure and direction for your time in God’s Word. Whether you’re a new believer or a seasoned saint, having a plan can transform your Bible reading from sporadic to consistent.

The most comprehensive option is a "Bible in a Year" plan, which takes you through the entire Bible in 365 days. This typically involves 3-4 chapters per day from both the Old and New Testaments. It’s a significant commitment but incredibly rewarding.

For those wanting a more focused approach, a New Testament plan covers all 27 books in 90 days. This is an excellent option for understanding the life of Jesus and the early church.

Shorter plans like "Psalms & Proverbs in 30 Days" or "Gospels in 40 Days" provide concentrated study in specific areas. These are perfect for seasons when you want to go deep rather than wide.

Topical plans focus on a specific theme like love, faith, or prayer over a week or two. These are great for addressing specific needs or interests in your spiritual journey.

Whatever plan you choose, the key is consistency. It’s better to read a little every day than a lot occasionally. Use our reading plan tool to track your progress and stay motivated. Remember, the goal is not to check off boxes but to encounter God through His Word.
