Revelation Capítulo 5
KJV — King James Version · 14 versículos
And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
Spiritual Insight
A scroll sealed with seven seals in God's right hand — a message so important it required complete security. What God holds for you is perfectly protected until the right moment to reveal it.
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
Spiritual Insight
A strong angel cries out, 'Who is worthy?' — the question echoes through all creation. Worthiness to unlock God's plan isn't earned by power or status, but by a character only One possesses.
And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
Spiritual Insight
No one in heaven, earth, or under the earth could open it — a humbling moment for all creation. The universe's greatest breakthrough required someone beyond the universe itself.
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
Spiritual Insight
John wept because no one was found worthy — sometimes the weight of locked destinies brings tears. But your tears aren't wasted; they often come right before the most glorious reveal.
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Spiritual Insight
Weep not — the Lion of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed! Your weeping is interrupted by the greatest news: Someone worthy has already won the victory you couldn't.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Spiritual Insight
A Lamb looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center — power wrapped in sacrifice. God's strength is displayed not in domination but in willing vulnerability for your sake.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
Spiritual Insight
The Lamb took the scroll — the simplest action with the most profound implications. In one gesture, all of history's locked doors were handed to the One who paid the price to open them.
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
Spiritual Insight
Golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints — your prayers are not lost in the air. They are collected, treasured, and presented before God as a fragrant offering.
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Spiritual Insight
A new song breaks out — 'You are worthy because You were slain and purchased us with Your blood.' The only song loud enough to shake heaven is the one about a Lamb who became a Savior.
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Spiritual Insight
Made to be a kingdom and priests to serve God on earth — your destiny is royal and sacred. You weren't saved just to escape hell; you were saved to reign and serve in God's kingdom now.
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
Spiritual Insight
Ten thousand times ten thousand angels — numbers beyond counting join the worship. You are never alone in your praise; an innumerable host stands beside you every time you lift your voice.
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Spiritual Insight
Seven attributes of worthiness proclaimed — power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing. The Lamb doesn't just receive one dimension of praise; He deserves the full spectrum.
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
Spiritual Insight
Every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and in the sea joins the chorus — all creation will worship. One day even the skeptic and the cynic will bend the knee in awe.
And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
Spiritual Insight
The four creatures say 'Amen' and the elders fall down and worship — heaven's response to heaven's worship is more worship. True praise always leads to deeper praise.
