Revelation Capítulo 22

KJV — King James Version · 21 versículos

1

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Spiritual Insight

A pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from God's throne. Living water isn't stagnant—it flows, refreshes, and gives life. God's presence is not a reservoir but a river.

2

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Spiritual Insight

The tree of life on both sides of the river, bearing twelve fruits each month, leaves for healing nations. God's provision is continuous and comprehensive. Healing is not just for individuals but for entire nations.

3

And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Spiritual Insight

No more curse—God's throne is in the city, and His servants serve Him. The curse that has haunted creation since Eden is finally lifted. You were made for an uncursed world, and it's coming.

4

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Spiritual Insight

They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. Face to face with God—no barrier, no veil. This is the deepest longing of every human heart, and it will be fully satisfied.

5

And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Spiritual Insight

No night, no need for lamp or sun—God gives them light, and they reign forever. Light without a source, authority without end. This is your eternal home: bright and royal.

6

And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

Spiritual Insight

These words are faithful and true—the Lord sent His angel to show His servants what must soon happen. God doesn't reveal to frighten but to prepare. Prophecy is a gift of love, not fear.

7

Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Spiritual Insight

Behold, I come quickly! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of this prophecy. His coming is certain and soon—not in our timing, but in His. Live ready, live expectant.

8

And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

Spiritual Insight

John falls to worship the angel again—so overwhelmed by what he's seen. Even spiritual giants need correction. Don't be embarrassed by your stumbles; just keep growing.

9

Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Spiritual Insight

Don't do it! I am a fellow servant—worship God. The angel's humility is remarkable. Even heavenly beings redirect glory to God alone. Follow their example: deflect praise, point to Him.

10

And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

Spiritual Insight

Don't seal these words—the time is near. Unlike Daniel's sealed scroll, this revelation is open. God wants you to know, not to wonder. Read, understand, and live accordingly.

11

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Spiritual Insight

Let the unjust remain unjust, the filthy remain filthy, the righteous remain righteous, the holy remain holy. A sobering thought—patterns become permanent. What patterns are you establishing today?

12

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Spiritual Insight

Behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me. Jesus doesn't come empty-handed. Every act of faithfulness will be recognized and rewarded. Nothing done in His name is forgotten.

13

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Spiritual Insight

I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Jesus spans all of existence—from the first letter to the last. Everything finds its meaning in Him.

14

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Spiritual Insight

Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and enter the city. Access to the tree of life and the city requires clean garments. Let Him wash you; He loves doing it.

15

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Spiritual Insight

Outside are the dogs, sorcerers, the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters, and liars. Some choose to remain outside. The gates are open, but not everyone walks through. Choose to enter.

16

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Spiritual Insight

I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you. I am the root and offspring of David, the bright morning star. Jesus Himself signs off this letter. He is both the root and the branch—eternal and incarnate. And He is your morning star—signaling that dawn is coming.

17

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Spiritual Insight

The Spirit and the bride say, Come! Let the one who hears say, Come! Let the thirsty come, and let whoever desires take the water of life freely. This is the most beautiful invitation in all of Scripture. Come. Just come. The water is free.

18

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Spiritual Insight

If anyone adds to these words, God will add the plagues described herein. God's word is complete and sufficient. Resist the urge to improve upon what is already perfect. Trust it as it is.

19

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Spiritual Insight

If anyone takes away from these words, God will take away that person's share in the tree of life and the holy city. Removing parts of God's word removes parts of your inheritance. Handle His truth with reverence.

20

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Spiritual Insight

Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. This is the last prayer of the Bible—short, earnest, and longing. Make it your daily prayer. Come, Lord Jesus.

21

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Spiritual Insight

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. The Bible ends not with judgment but with grace. Grace is God's last word—and His enduring word to you. Live in it.
