Revelation Capítulo 10

KJV — King James Version · 11 versículos

1

And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

Spiritual Insight

A mighty angel robed in a cloud with a rainbow crown, face like the sun, feet like pillars of fire — divine majesty embodied. When God sends a messenger, the messenger carries God's glory.

2

And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

Spiritual Insight

A little open scroll in his hand, one foot on sea and one on land — God's message spans all creation. No corner of the earth is outside the reach of what He's about to reveal.

3

And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

Spiritual Insight

He shouted like a roaring lion, and seven thunders answered — creation responds to divine speech. When heaven speaks, even the thunder has something to say, though not all of it is for us to know.

4

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

Spiritual Insight

John was about to write but was told to seal it — not everything revealed is meant to be recorded. Some mysteries are kept between you and God, and that intimacy is a privilege, not a deprivation.

5

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

Spiritual Insight

The angel raised his hand toward heaven — a gesture of solemn oath-taking. When heaven swears an oath, you can stake your life on it; it will not fail.

6

And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

Spiritual Insight

Swearing by the eternal Creator that delay will be no more — God's patience has a terminus point. The same God who gives you time to repent also has a clock that will not tick forever.

7

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Spiritual Insight

When the seventh angel sounds, the mystery of God will be completed — every prophecy converges in one moment. All the loose ends of history will finally be tied together in Christ.

8

And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

Spiritual Insight

The voice from heaven told John to take the little scroll — God's word must be personally received. Reading Scripture from a distance is never enough; you must take it in hand.

9

And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

Spiritual Insight

Eat the scroll — sweet as honey in the mouth but bitter in the stomach — God's word carries both delight and weight. Digesting truth means accepting both its comfort and its challenge.

10

And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

Spiritual Insight

Sweetness then bitterness — the prophetic experience in a single bite. Knowing God's plans is exhilarating, but carrying their burden is costly. Both are part of the calling.

11

And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Spiritual Insight

You must prophesy again before many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings — the call doesn't end with one assignment. God's commissions are renewable, and your voice is needed in wider circles than you think.
